in 2024, i focused on ways that print could exist as both multiples and singular objects
i created my first large woodcut, “The heart of it all,” which was 24” x 48.” i printed this during a may workshop with big ink prints using their traveling press at color ink studio in hazel park, michigan. in the months that followed, i experimented with different ways of painting, drawing, and using relief to create several related works. this work was exhibited at part of a group exhibit, “tickle me,” at buckham gallery in flint, michigan.
